Dr. Antonio Gonzalez
Dr. Antonio Gonzalez is a general practitioner, or GP, in Immokalee, FL, offering comprehensive medical care for patients of all ages. Dr. Gonzalez graduated from Eugenio Maria De Hostos University of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic in 1994. He became a registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist at St. Joseph Hospital and Medical Center in New Jersey from 1998 to 2000. He completed a year internship at the Christ the Redeemer Hospital in Guayama, Puerto Rico.
He has been Principal Investigator for Advanced Research for Health Improvement since 2017 having overseen numerous clinical trials in the Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular and Immunology fields. Having been the highest enrolling site in the United States, he has been featured as an author in the New England Journal of Medicine for his work in Merck’s Molnupinavir antiviral for COVID-19 treatment study.
