Your participation in clinical trials helps improve human health and advance medicine. Because of you we can develop innovative therapies to treat all kinds of health problems affecting people like you.
As a participant in a clinical trial, you play a more active role in your own healthcare. Because of this, you may be more readily available for researchers to provide you with more detailed medical care and more frequent health check-ups as part of your treatment. You may also receive a new treatment for a disease before it is available to the public and be able to get information about support groups and resources.
