Naples, Fl. Advanced Research for Health Improvement (ARHI) is delighted to welcome Dr. Annette MacKoul, affectionately known in the community as “Dr. Koul,” to its distinguished team of investigators. A lifelong child advocate and respected physician, Dr. Koul brings decades of experience in medicine, leadership, and community service to ARHI’s mission of advancing clinical research and improving health outcomes.
Born in Rockville Centre, New York, Dr. Koul completed her undergraduate studies at Adelphi University and earned her medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine. Following her residency at the New England Medical Center’s Boston Floating Hospital, she built a career that combined clinical practice with a passion for public engagement. Her leadership roles include serving as President of the Lee County Medical Society and as a National Board Member of the United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation.
“We are honored to welcome Dr. Koul to ARHI,” said Juan C Ramos, M.S, Managing Partner and Research Director. “Her dedication to children, families, and the broader community, combined with her medical expertise, makes her an invaluable addition to our team as we continue to expand access to innovative clinical trials.”
